In my other thread:
http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?119600-Player-research-Exactly-how-does-ensorcell-impact-enchant-difficulty
I researched exactly how ensorcell tiers increased the difficulty of enchants. The answers appears to be a flat +20 points per tier up to T4. I can't imagine T5 would be different, but I'll find out. Before starting this, I realized that this would also present an opportunity to research another question at the same time:
"How many points of ensorcell difficulty does each tier of existing ensorcell add for sorcerers?"
https://gswiki.play.net/Ensorcell_(735)
I borrowed a sorc and did difficulty checks on the test server at T0, T1, T2, T3, and T4 tiers. So what's the result? A flat +50 increased difficulty per existing tier. I intend to add this to the wiki if there are no objections. I will list precisely what I did below with numbers. Essentially, the goal of each sub-test was to measure how much increased difficulty was present over the base case of the T0 sword. I didn't proceed to the same breakpoint every time, but that's accounted for by the math (hopefully correctly).
Test item was a plain vultite short sword bought from the Landing shop, naturally 4x enchanted. (Vultite doesn't help or hinder either enchant or ensorcell difficulty.)
swap in T0 sword
Brought all skills to 0 except HP at 100 and Sorc at 35. Full spirit, no spells, no relevant enhancives.
test cast "bad luck"
EMC to 8 for "horribly unlucky" breakpoint
swap in T1 sword
test cast "but possible"
EMC to 28 for "some luck" breakpoint
Extra difficulty of (28 - 8)/4 + (100 - 55) = 20/4 + 45 = 5 + 45 = 50
swap in T2 sword
test cast "nearly impossible"
EMC to 68 for "very difficult" breakpoint
difficulty of (68 - 8)/4 + (100 - 15) = 15 + 85 = 100
swap in T3 sword
test cast "need a miracle"
sorc to 65 and EMC to 108 for "but possible" breakpoint
difficulty of (108 - 8)/4 + (100 - 35) + (65 - 35)*2 = 25 + 65 + 60 = 150
swap in T4 sword
test cast "need a miracle"
sorc to 75 and SMC to 120 for "but possible" breakpoint
difficulty of 120/4 + (108 - 8)/4 + (100 - 35) + (75 - 35)*2 = 30 + 25 + 65 + 80 = 200
