View Full Version : Character Manager Stat Reallocation

The introduction of the paladin conversion system will bring with it a number of bug fixes to the Character Manager. One of the more notable fixes will be the removal of stat reallocation.

Stat reallocations will disappear on March 18th, regardless of how many you may have left. Please plan accordingly.

You should optimize for growth if you plan on getting post cap TPs, because having higher stats all around is better than a few extra TPs that you'd be making up anyway. You should optimize for TPs if you don't plan on making cap or getting post cap experience.

Because we shouldn't have them. My guess is people do what I do, place stats for retardedly fast gains 0-25ish then use the first to actually get stats conducive to the profession/race.

How hard is it to put a 90 in ST 90 in LOG and 90 in INT then train in ohe and shield? That's all you need for any profession from 0-25ish. I know, that's what I do.

Heh. It's was hard as hell for me to believe they ever, ever, ever allowed for stat reallocation again in the first place. Now, we've got people pitching a fit because it's being removed? Sorry, but...well, it just gives me the giggles. :lol:

Seriously, anybody who was around for the first coming of reallocation predicted this as soon as it was announced that reallocation would be allowed again. It wasn't a good idea the first time. Most people thought a lesson had been learned then. Apparently not... :rolleyes:

In the end, the GS3-GS4 reallocation was needed due to the massive changes made to the game. Simu couldn't afford to fuck over that many people at once, as people were already upset with the EXP changes being made.

I agree, however, that the STAT changes being removed is long overdue. I, like anyone else with any brains, had plans to optimize my stats for growth/TP's every 10-20 levels out until my final one, then place for the cap.

We shouldn't be able to do this. Its a bug, called as much by Simu, and its being fixed...be glad they gave us any warning at all before yanking it.

I go with maxxed stats at 100, myself, but only because I hate tanking things.

I've never used a stat reallocation before. You'd think you would have to redo your skills, seeing as how the amount of TP's is now different. Is that an instant process, or must you migrate it out? :?:

I also feel maxxed stats at 100 is the way to go.

You can always earn more TPs as you earn EXP.

Stats never grow past what they are at train 100
