Updated nightly - ONCE, TWICE, SOLD. May speed it up to 2x per day towards the weekend.

You sure it's got the elegant forging modifier? Pretty sure katana's can't be player forged.

It might be an altered falchion or broadsword from before katana were released as their own base... but I'd insist on being shown a crafting mark before handing over silvers for it. Esp since veil iron slabs are only released via raffles/auctions.

Hey guys sorry for the confusion and thanks for the quick responses - I honestly just assumed the forging adjectives like "elegant" implied the bonus and that if the treasure system generated items with those adjectives, they would have the applicable forging bonus.

This noob is a victim of ambiguity - sorry! :P

Anyways, I've accepted a buyout offer from someone who knows it's not actually forged.

Thank you

EDIT: btw it's not altered it came from an arena package

no prob, I've seen quite a few of your items for sale and never seemed to be trying to get one over on anyone....

Just for future reference, forged weapons will always have a crafter's mark on them when you LOOK at them. If they don't have a mark, they prolly don't have the properties of player forged weapons... though I'm sure there are exceptions floating around out there (having a bard loresing to a weapon can reveal if it has an AvD bonus, though that's not a common property outside player forged weapons).

Katanas are also not a thing that can be forged, for anyone else in the market that might potentially get confused down the line.
