Armor question.

Okay so...I'm a pure caster and wont be swinging a damned thing so I want to know what would be the best level of armor to train up to.

Can I wear leather armor? If so, what kind? Ideally I'd like to be able to wear something that protects everything (chest, legs, arms, neck, head) but I know being a sorcerer this is going to likely be impossible.

Someone clue me in here.

Double leather. Get 8 ranks of armor use.

Or if you want more protection than that, Leather breastplate is 20 ranks and Studded leather is I think 50

2% hinderance (and 8 ranks) is so much better than 5% (and 20 ranks). I'd stick with leather.

Anything above and including AsG 8 (double) has just that.

i'd stick to nothing greater than double leather, best to find some nice high enchant or padded kind
