For UAC I'll leave this quote from the resistance page:
Resistances exist for all critical table's except for UAC-specific ones and noncorporeal, since characters are corporeal.
As for cmans...no clue.

well, I guess the only question is if any of them help vs maneuvers

They can help against damage taken from cmans, sure, if you have that type of resistance. They won't help you avoid cman's though.

What is the damage resistance type that helps vs cman damage? We've tested impact resistance vs headbutt for example, and it didn't appear to help.

Tell me the type of damage the cman is doing, and that's the kind of resistance you need. I'd try crush vs headbutt.
