Every other time I use the AutoSGE to log-in my character, a Debug Mode window pops up saying "Saved the file. Changed debug mode to 5." So I click okay, use it again and it runs through smoothly. What's the deal?

Its psinet. I've already noticed that same problem and got rid of psinet. Ever since then i've never gotten that message again.

I knew that, I was just wondering if there was something I could do to fix it other than uninstalling psinet.

<<I've already noticed that same problem and got rid of psinet.>>

That's one solution. Or you could just fix it.

I forget what you have to change, but it's in a non-encrypted file and something needs to be a 0.

Go into the PSInet folder, wherever you have that. In that folder will be a text document called Mode, and go into that. It'll have a number in that text document... most likely a 5. Change that to only read "0". Then it should work.

When altering the mode.txt file, I've gotten the error when substituting 0 for 5. I threw in a 2 and it works without the message. Keep toying with it until you find a single digit number that wont kick up that debug message.

Hmmm, Jamus walked me through editing and told me to edit with zero, and I have had zero problems.

It's 0.

Anything other than 0 will result in wonkiness.

Sweet, I"ll modify mine to 0 and see if it changes anything. Thus far I've had no issues with 2, must be because wonkiness is the norm for me.

So I've used AutoSGE for a while and had no problems at all. I recently bought a new laptop and now I get a message stating that "The character name specified in this ID was not found under this account!" during the Requesting character list phase. I've checked settings and found that nothing's changed there from what I can tell. My old laptop was XP, my new one is Vista. Any ideas?

Well, I figured it out if anyone else is having the same problem. Rightclick Autosge.exe, pick Compatibility, and then pick Run as Administrator. I went ahead and set it for all users as well, and now... no problems.
