View Full Version : Weird Laws
I’ve heard a few and always wondered why they are created.
This one is pretty stupid. Virginia (http://edition.cnn.com/2005/LAW/02/09/low.pants.ap/), don’t bend over.

The plumber's union must be actively fighting that one.

So, people on Virginia Beach are allowed to run around in bikinis..
But they're not allowed to show off the TOPS of their boxers while keeping most of the rest of their bodies completely covered?
That's...silly.

Personally, I'd rather see their tighty-whities than the crack of their ass! :scared:

Our oldest child did not want us to move out of the U of I family housing when my wife graduated. Well not away from Urbana anyway. It's illegal for monsters to enter the city limits ... True and on the books.

No they aren't. It's very family-oriented. You even get fined if a cop hears you swearing.
Other than that, though, Virginia Beach was awesome. I'd definitely go back.

What's in a name? (http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/02/24/abortion.investigation.ap/index.html)
You'd think if he was collecting data for his investigation the files sans names would be sufficient.
My cousin was raped a few years back and although she luckily did not get pregnant, she still doesn't want people bringing it up.
These women have gone through the trauma of rape and then abortion, and now you want to dredge their names up and "protect" them.
Bullshit.

The underwear law did not pass, by the way.
