I've got a launch date (11/22/05) Xbox 360 with a manufacture date of 11/21/05 (it's on the label on the back) complete in the box with all the paperwork, packing materials, controller, etc. It's in like new condition. Think it's worth more than a 360 made after that? With all the problems these faced in their first few years of release, I have to wonder how many actual release date 360's in this condition are still out there. Most people won't care, but the collectors might.

I hadn't played it in years, but noticed that games for it are dirt cheap now so decided to get a few awesome titles that I never wanted to pay for back in the day. Turns out, most of those need 8gb storage each and my 20gb hard drive wasn't going to cut it, so I bought a 360 S with 320gb (star wars edition ftw) and am now listing the release date 360 on ebay. Given that a later 360, console only, no box or accessories, in terrible condition goes for around $65 shipped, how much should I list this for?

Early production 360's are valued much less because of their red rings of death, but the 360 in general isn't super valuable anyway because of it being just last-gen and the prevalence of digital downloads and backwards compatibility. If it was still shrinkwrapped you could probably get $100 - $150 if you found the right collector who wants to just keep it on a shelf, but it would be hard.

If it was something like a design, promo, exclusive or a signed one, it'd be worth a little bit just for collectors. But if it's the basic scheme, you got a nice brick.

It isn't? What a savage time that was. I didn't believe you, but there it is, they added them to the models made in 2007.

It also isn't wireless. Came with an ethernet cable. :(

We'll be ascending to DisplayPort soon.

You could get wifi adapters. I had one, it was neat.

My current monitor uses displayport :)

It was a PITA because my damn computer hs only 1 HDMI out and 4 DisplayPorts. I have to either get DisplayPort to HDMI cable or have my monitor selection slashed in half.
