View Full Version : Flares won't go on low steel?

So several people said you could add common, greater and rot to low steel.

Just tried to add common flares via Sadie:


The warblade is not eligible to have flares added.

Why? It's a 10x T5 splitter with only 50 services of crit weighting and 10 services of damage weighting. Nothing else. Why wouldn't it accept flares?

Because it already has flares innatly?

As far as I understand there are 4 flair slots: common/uncommon, rare, rot and script like briar. So low steel takes the common slot? I thought low steel was its own thing.

Either they aren't or Sadie just doesn't like it.

Unless it's a script flare for CAT D(briar, blink, ironwright, bubble, etc), all other flares reside in CAT B and you can only have one, no matter if common/uncommon/rare. Low steel has a unique psychic flare that resides in the CAT B slot I'm fairly 99% certain of.

I've read through all the wiki articles but this is still clear as mud when it comes to low steel. Splitter won't take script falres, so CAT D is out, and if low steel is CAT B, then no flairs can be added to a low steel splitter at all... which is the opposite of what many told me previously.

Sadie is telling you no now though. That is what matters. You can ask on discord for clarification though.
