It's clear that the majority have voted for a "possible auction." I don't want increase the already high prices. I also can't add more of these. So this is the plan.

We'll have a series of mini raffles that cost a small amount of silver. The raffles will take place in a room without exits. Once you enter the room and enter the raffle, you are locked in that room until it draws. The winner will then have the option to buy which ever item is up for the price determined for that item. There will be a no passing rule ONCE you enter that room. If the winner does not have enough bloodscrip to make the purchase, they will be placed into a cell where they cannot leave until this is over and we'll rinse repeat until someone can make the purchase. Once the item up has been purchased, the exit will be restored temporarily to let you escape. We'll do this for the duping quiver, ethereal string, low steel greatshield, and low steel lance.

This will take place either Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I will put it on the calendar once I can confirm my availability. This is only for Prime. Platinum / Shattered, we'll figure out something at a later time to get these items out there.

At the very end, I'll probably do my normal shenanigans where I offer some other things that might involve spinners, games, or whatever seems fun.

Is this so people can’t bid on an item then buy the necessary scrip from people to pay for it? If so won’t people just stock up on scrip before hand? Also since when does Simu care about people trading scrip and silver for auction items?

Sounds like you only go into the cell if you win the silver bid but don’t have the scrip. As this won’t effect me I’ll do what most Americans do and pay no mind until it becomes a me problem.

Actually sells more scrip to more people probably - 10 people with 500k vs 2 with 2.5m. Also more equitable chance of getting. I would def lose an auction, but now may have chance to win. Seems good to me.

This is an attempt to prevent collusion, appease people that gathered the 500k for the items, give more people a chance.

It prevents scripters and people with faster connections for controlling a purchase.
Allows anyone that collected the necessary scrip at least a chance.
Assuming they give enough waring of when it will be held, gives most people a shot at at least seeing the item go un the block.

The Trove was not working properly, for a quick solution this is at least fair and somewhat balanced.

This will take place this Sunday (12/23/18) at noon (12pm) ET. I will have it on the calendar momentarily. Just to help plan, here are the rules and prices of each item.

*Entering the area where this will take place will lock you in with no exits.
**You must have a paid subscription to enter.
*No passing items around once inside the area.
*You must enter a raffle that will cost roughly 1000 silver. You must have the silver before entering. Failure to do this will disqualify you from entering.
**Bring extra silver just in case.
*Winner of the raffle will have the option to purchase the item up for sale.
**If the winner cannot afford the item, they will be disqualified from entering all raffles for the items listed below.
**A new winner will be selected via a more simpler method to speed things up.
*Once the winner makes the purchase, the exit will be restored and there will be a short break before starting the next item.
*You can only purchase one item.
*Items do not attune.
