In addition to what Bob said, it might help your analogy if calling someone a cigarette was at all demeaning.

Calling someone a fairy - a floating, weak, girl-like character in Zelda - is an insult in and of itself ... with absolutely zero connotation of sexual preference, being compared to a fairy would still be insulting.

I know I'm not going to get an apology, I don't want anything negative to happen to HarmNone as a moderator, and I can go without saying the word fairy.
