The Outer Worlds looks like they picked up a lot of Wildstar devs.

It's always worrying to me when a "sequel" comes out so quickly after the last. They probably reused a lot of the assets from 4, it's clearly on the same engine with no real advancement, et cetera et cetera. It's like how Assassin's Creed IV was basically a quick cash grab after everybody thought the ship battle part of III was totally awesome. I was among that crowd of course, but they rushed 4 out so fast that there was no way they could've given it the attention it really needed as a standalone game.

Ubisoft has done this a few times before with the FC series. Primal had a lot of elements of FC4's map, Blood Dragon did the same with FC3. At least it's not a full price game.

Oh, speaking of, all the Assassin's Creed games are discounted on Steam this weekend. III and IV were like $14 for both when I grabbed 'em last night, and the new one is discounted to 40.

New Vegas was definitely the best from a storytelling and character depth prospective. That shows promise!
