Saints suck.

[Town Square Central - 227]
This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end of the space, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see the fiery red Heidolph disk, the Aderion disk, a large acorn, a scratched steel chest, a rotting monir coffer, a weathered haon coffer, some bur-clover root, some stone benches with some stuff on it and an herbal remedy donation bin.
Also here: Raddafiskie, Heidolph, Lord Badgerlock, Wpoole, Arelhi, Hastryg, Raneng, Gilthantis, Earindel who is sitting, Lord Jerthyl, Aderion, Lady Illila, Hrison, Cytiger, Bunbury, Barakeel
Obvious paths: northeast, east, southeast, southwest, west, northwest

Cowboys offense played shitty(shocking out side Elliot they havent found a great grove even with Cooper). Cowboys defense despite being well rested had way to many mental errors in the second half. The officiating overall sucked. However... HaH to the Saints and go Boys.. Everyone should have seen the Saints have not faced any great defenses, and most of the win streak has been against teams ranked 25 or higher for such.

I know this thread had nothing to do with the game tonight, I am just proud.

Smith and Vander Esch are the truth. I'm going to replace my ~11 year old Demarcus Ware jersey with one of the two but haven't decided which.

I still think Dak is a mediocre (at best) QB and isn't the answer. The incredible defense will only take them so far. Somewhere along the way, you gotta put up some points.

The Cowboys Offense played how they did because the Saints Defense is pretty good. #1 Rush Defense in the League. Elliot could really only work as a receiver. Saint's offense just never clicked. Cowboy's D was in Bree's face a lot, but even outside that he only went for a very few long passes and even in 3rd down situations he was rarely throwing past the 1st down marker.

When the Saints won the Superbowl they lost to the Cowboys though, so there is that.

Best rush defense but like 30th pass defense. If Dak wasn't hanging onto the ball forever, missing WIDE OPEN receivers, and fumbling every third play, it would've been a lot more lopsided.

Marinelli's plan was good and the Cowboys has the personnel to execute it. Like you said - quick pass rush backed by a LB core with good lateral movement. The Panthers has a front 7 who could possibly execute a similar plan but I'm not familiar enough with their DBs to guess if they'll hold up.

Honestly, I think you guys will win out and probably walk into the superbowl.

Angry Rams fans have started a petition to get ref removed from NFC Championship game and here’s why (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/angry-rams-fans-have-started-a-petition-to-get-ref-removed-from-nfc-championship-game-and-heres-why/)

Rams fans are so upset with the NFL's decision to have referee Bill Vinovich officiate Sunday's NFC Championship that they've actually started a petition to have him removed from the game.

The reason Rams fans are mad is that because they seem to lose every single game that Vinovich is involved in. As we noted earlier this week when the officiating teams were announced, Vinovich has been the ref for eight games involving the Rams since 2012 and they've gone 0-8 in those games. Not only that, but the Rams have been hit with more penalty yardage in seven of the eight games (In the other game, they ended up with the same amount of penalty yardage).

More... (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/angry-rams-fans-have-started-a-petition-to-get-ref-removed-from-nfc-championship-game-and-heres-why/)

I guess he was trying to make up for them losing those other 8 games.

The head official said he didn't see the play. It wasn't tipped, but even if it was, there is still helmet to helmet there. The other two haven't said anything as far as I've seen, and I don't expect them too. The league office called Sean Payton and said it was a blown no call though. They admitted it was wrong.

Hell, a couple years ago a hit like that includes a fine. It was helmet to helmet against a defenseless receiver and the ball wasn't there. He just flat laid the guy out. Call or no call, I'd be interested in hearing an explanation from the corner who just James Harrison'd a guy. He didn't even try to look for the ball. He zeroed in on the potential receiver and just tackled him.

If he didn't, the ball is caught and the game is over. He should have been flagged, but he wasn't, so his gamble paid off. I thought I saw somewhere that he said he was surprised he didn't get a flag. He is still probably going to get fined though, like 5 grand or some shit.

It's probably an even bigger slice of the pie (pun intended) monetarily speaking, is a legitimate service for which there's a large customer base, and would become much safer for everyone involved with regulation and taxation.

Edit to add: Also now that we got Kraft, we should use it to squeeze him for dirt on Deflategate so we can put an asterisk all up over Brady's stats! Goddamned Patriots.

While I'm on the subject of complaining about football stuff, what the hell was with the ASMR commercial in the superbowl? I can't be the only person it affects in an annoying way. I get that it's a fetish for some people, and that they want it to be acceptable in the mainstream. It isn't. No more than being a My Little Pony loving 30 year old was. And it's equally as harmless. Have your fetish. Great. You do you. Don't subject me to it though.

For me personally though it does do something, but it's the opposite if what fetishists get out of it. It actually grates on my nerves when I hear it, like nails on a chalkboard. Not that it annoys me; I mean an actual physical reaction. Anyone else have that going on?

The fuck is ASMR?

It's a youtube thing where a hot chick shows you her cleavage and whispers at you about nonsense or crinkles paper or taps her nails against something. Apparently it's a 50/50 split between people claiming it's a sexual fetish and people claiming it's just some weird thing that makes them feel good, but either way it's a fetish and is not really acceptable in the mainstream. And there was some superbowl commercial that had it. I think it was one of the beer commercials but I don't remember specifically.

It feels like every now and again some group gets emboldened to push and try to be publically socially acceptable, like bronies or furries or vaping. And they have to then kind of sat down and told that whatever they're doing is fine in the privacy of their own homes/social circles, but not shoved in the middle of the biggest sporting event of the year. The line is pretty clearly drawn between mainstream and fetishes, and some of the newer ones just love to try to hop the fence.
