Don’t those items gain additional abilities when they’re near each other?

Yes they did, but I'm not sure if anyone actually ever got them together to figure out what it was. The Rogue self-mana Tremors pavis was the shizzz.

Interesting way they were put out also, you could buy as many raffle tickets as you wanted.

I’m pretty sure the ability was that when multiple shields are in the room, everyone holding one was able to cast the spells from the others.
