I have a rogue sitting on my account that was a mule for a while, then I hunted him some with the 3x experiene. Well anyway, he's 23 now and I decided to try a crazy training for him...

HR>take 1 arrow
You remove a single wooden arrow from a bundle of wooden arrows.
H>ambush warr
The krolvin warrior sniffs around looking for something.
H>
You leap from hiding to attack!
You thrust with a wooden arrow at a krolvin warrior!
AS: +253 vs DS: +123 with AvD: +4 + d100 roll: +64 = +198
... and hit for 28 points of damage!
Beautiful shot pierces skull! Amazing the krolvin warrior wasn't killed outright!
The krolvin warrior is stunned!
The scintillating red light surrounding the arrow fades some.
Roundtime: 6 sec.
R>
A krolvin mercenary just arrived.
R>fire warr
You nock a wooden arrow in your thanot long bow.
You fire a wooden arrow at a krolvin warrior!
AS: +257 vs DS: +66 with AvD: +23 + d100 roll: +72 = +286
... and hit for 90 points of damage!
Damaging strike to chest, several ribs shattered!

** As you hit, your arrow flares with a burst of fire! **
... 5 points of damage!
Minor burns to left leg. That hurts a bit.
The scintillating red light surrounding the arrow fades away.
The wooden arrow sticks in a krolvin warrior's chest!
Roundtime: 5 sec.

Whatya think about continuing this training... waste of time? I did it mostly for RP as he will be an assasin.

only sucky thing about this is you only get 2 shots from an arrow and then it loses its eblade... so swing/shoot will deplete your e-blades very quickly.

Plus you are basically getting a 6 second dagger ambush by ambushing with an arrow.

Though you could get some 4x arrows...

Seems to me that you could just fire the arrow and stay in hiding in the same 6 seconds which.. would then greatly reduce the chance of you being injured while hunting. Also looking at the endroll and the damage it looks like arrows hit about as hard as a Danza Slap would, so for the same amount of RT I'd just fire the damn thing

Different strokes for different folks I guess. Personally, I don't ever see an assassin leaping out from hiding to stab me with an arrow in his hand.

I've seen people train in 2 weapon classes many times.. it's not that big a deal. By doing that though, you will leave off some core rogue trainings.

Just to clear this up, if you rebundle your arrows into the ebladed bundle, they keep the edge a lot longer. Also, you can give the stack a huge eblade if you do the following:

eblade arrow 1
eblade arrow 2
bundle arrows 1 & 2
eblade arrow 3
bundle 3
eblade bundle
bundle all of them together

(include as many single arrow eblades as possible, they all stack up and increase the total duration of the eblade)
