Hi All,

I am trying to understand the differences (besides ASG and Padding) between A MBP and Full Plate as related to resistances and fittings.

So I know that MBP has plate ASG for torso, and chain ASG for everywhere else (and if it has padding, it covers everything)

What I dont know is if the armor gets something like Ranger resistance, does that cover everything also, or just the chest?

Same question for fittings, and other resistance effects.

Thanks in Advance,

Vendon

it should, like you said, it's just a different asg, resulting in varying AvD's depending on what it's depending against. I could be wrong, but that's how i've always understood it

Resistances and fittings cover the whole body. Only CvA, AvD and crit divisor differ.

So, what would you say is the best resistance to have (paladin) I know people say nature a lot, but what would you say is best all around resistance?

I'd get lightning for plate I think

Rangers can do temp fire, steam, nature, or cold. All the other ones are merchant-only. Best all-around Ranger resistance is probably fire, but it really depends on what you're hunting. Lightning and impact and great all-around resistances otherwise. Best warrior resistance is slash to cover the most attacks, but puncture or crush to help keep you from dying.
