So anyone know of a way to get an amazing deal on a great hotel in South Beach Miami??? I'm going on a cruise in May and want to spend a night there just to relax... But I'm also picky (only stay at 4 star or better) Sooo.... anyone stayed there before and know of a great hotel with a good price? (I'm looking for under 200 bucks)

The Winterhaven is nice, and it's right on Ocean Blvd. I don't think they're over $200.00. It's worth a look, since it's just been renovated. :)

I'd go with the clevelander. One of the best nightspots as well. Then again, south beach can't compare to coconut grove anyway. Coral Gables > South Beach

I always find decent deals at Sidestep.com.

This can't be right, they have a 5 star hotel in Miami for 90 bucks.

Gotta look at it this way.

$90 for a room is > the room not being rented out at all.

Thats how a lot of the websites like hotels.com and expedia are able to cut such good deals. Hotels (Planes, etc) are willing to cut the price if it means they can fill the empty spot.

Miami/South Beach is overrated. I agree with Tamral and go to Coconut Grove. :D

Yes, but with south beach you walk straight onto the beach. You can always do priceline and specify how many stars you want.

Whenever I read South Beach, for some reason I think Long Beach and a huge slum comes into my mind.
