I had one of the three/four from last year. They are great fun. Once a day you can pull out a prize.
It can be silvers, a helpful spell, food, gems that are unique to the hat, healing herbs, like level monsters, and sometimes it will pull you into the void (like a glyph trap).
They are great fun.
