Can you put rot flares on a parasite weapon

I haven't been able to come up with a firm answer if you can rot flares to a parasite weapon. I am not sure if they both would be considered a category D or not. Plus when reading on the rot flares questions towards the end of the wiki page it gets confusing considering I thought some of those items would be incompatible.

They both use the script slot but rot flares are made to work with nearly all other scripts.

However, parasite script came out after rot flares so I'm not sure if it works or needs to be looked at with the new script to see if it can work.

Best bet is to tag Wyrom on the official Discord and ask as rot flare is his script.

I know Retser made mention that at some point he'd look at Rot Flares working with parasite. Not sure if he ever got around to it or not, but I don't think he did yet
