View Full Version : Good things.
Thought i'd make sure I didn't get the '' all you do is post bad news '' title again.
I got paid today!
I played an accoustic version of free bird at the local without messing any of it up.
It's sunny in London!
2 months (ish) since my last cigarrette.
400 sit ups in 4 mins.
One of the above is a total lie.

Good things..
My family is healthy, they have a place to stay and food to eat.
I get to go home in 2 hours.
I made the BEST beef stew I have ever made last night (leftovers!)
I have been very happy since I went back to playing GS.
For every jackass I have met in GS I have met at least 2 nice people.

1. Mike loves me!
2. I love Mike!
3. Lots of other things are great, but those are the two that matter. (OK, hands don't hurt today; nobody crapped outside the box in the cat room; it wasn't a dream, we actually live in the country now; got to sleep in; I have tons of pets [love animals])
edited to add:
4. The world hasn't been overrun by killer zombies (a common fear of mine).

I have some great friends getting me through a trying time.
My hubby gave me lovely earrings for Valentine's Day.
My kids snuggled on the couch with me watching a video last night instead of playing the x-box
I have tomorrow OFF!
The musical I was directing is over and I can sleep again.

I went to the local animal shelter to volunteer. One look at my resume and the disinterested, 'here fill this out,' turned into a two hour tour of the facility and assurances that my lack of hands will be 'no problem'. :)
I LOVE shelter & rescue work! The zoo was a wonderful job, but there's something about helping save lives that really brings out the warm and fuzzy.
Edited to add:
Still no killer zombies!
