My sister is my boss (because I didn't want to be boss) and my retard brother in law works the days I don't on graveyard.. whenever we make a mistake we get yelled at for it.. when he messes up.. she doesn't say jack.

I chose to not join the family business. One of the best decisions of my life :)

My sister was my boss only once. Power should not be given to just anyone, damnit. I learned my lesson and never again!!1

Think Vacation Jihna... and feel the warmth that word brings about as the flows of its essence wrap around you.

My mom asked me if I wanted to take over her employment agency.

I told her hell no - she deals with too many retards and people trying to sue her because their temp boss harass them.

Sell that bitch and let me and my bro split the profit.

Dad told me that he never wants me to work for a car dealership like he does.

Never was related to a boss. Five nights a year Mike and I have to work together at his boss's hockey arena. We sell beer, or sell souvenirs, or take tickets and stamp hands.

Those five nights are enough to convince both of us we'd kill each other if we had to work together. I'm very anal, got to have every dime accounted for every minute, stock has to be neat and perfectly lined up in displays, books have to be up to the minute. Mike is sort of catch as catch can.

We'd kill each other. SO happy we have totally separate occupations. Much better for the marriage.

There is one level of management between myself and my partner of 5 years and this is the second company where I've worked for him. I wouldn't trade it for any other way.

I've never worked under a family member, but I worked with my Dad a few Summers ago in a paper mill, when I was doing an internship.

We drove around golf carts and fished most of the work day.

I've avoided working with my Grandfather since college. Don't know if it is the best decision, but I feel like I'd be leeching. I'm also scared of his current business loan total, but he's one of the boldest people I know.

Never work for friend/relative/lover......always a mistake.

My Uncle owns a Financial Services firm in London England. He offered me a rather lucrative position a few years ago. I debated it for a while, especially considering the value of the firm and the fact that he doesn't have any children to will the company to. I decided there is nothing worse than being a bitch to family.

I still work like a dog but now I am my own bitch.
