Probably better to sell the silvers and then use the cash.

I have a gen 4 and it shoots like a dream. Kind of wishing I had gotten a G17 instead though.

I have a g23 and it's fine but I've a Dillon 650 and been working/learning on 9mm.. (p30, p2000 pistols) scared to hand load .40 for now.. like I said mail the FFL if you have the 19 super legally

would be easier to just sell the silvers for cash

Well I can get what I need regardless but thought it'd be fun to pay in silver since theres like millions of g19s around

Clears holster faster, not that much accuracy loss from shorter barrel, more control from full length grip

I get that people really like Glocks but I just never understood it, they feel in the hand like bricks to me. Like, how can you shoot a Walther Q5, HK P30L or VP9 and then go back to a Glock and still be happy with it.

Snag Hodgdon's annual magazine it's a good resource for updates. Also check out this forum http://www.handloads.com/, tons of good information and very helpful. I used to load a lot with my Lee turret press. Mostly 38 special, .357 and some rifle cartridges. What about .40 caliber has you concerned? If you're doing 9mm successfully just stick to the lighter loads when you do start .40 caliber. When I was first doing .357 I overcharged some rounds, the worst I saw was flattening of the primer and it was hard to eject from the cylinder. I immediately stopped using those, and pulled all of them apart. There's always been something unsettling about smacking a loaded bullet in a plastic hammer to separate the round, but I got it done, checked the charge and spotted what I did wrong. Since then if I am going to try a new powder, bullet weight, or powder charge I make notes in my notebook. I will only make about 10 rounds of the new load, go test and document results in my notebook. You'll refer back to your own notes frequently over time.

Good luck.

I deployed with a glock 19 many a times, and it never failed when I needed it. For this reason I personally own glocks. With that being said though, the Smith and Wesson M and P line is very clean as well. As far as caliber goes, shot placement matters much more than caliber.

Also, the ballistics don’t support needing a full 5 inch barrel at the distance most pistols are shot.

For me, ease of cleaning and I like the feel of it when shooting. Seems more accurate for me than other guns.

I always hit the mag release by accident when firing them.

Sig Sauer P239 or the the new P365. I love my 239, conceals easy, shoots great. I want to look at a 365 but so far no one around here has one in stock. I love Glocks, think they are great pistols, but my natural point of aim is better with a Sig than it is with a Glock, I mean i still own a 19, just because someone sole me one at a great deal, but its just a fun to shoot gun for me. I guess all guns are fun to shoot, but its strictly a rang queen, I never carry it. Carry for me is my 239, 229, or if I am open carry my 226.

S&W .40 is an easy round to load, straight wall case, any type of bullet, lots of powder choices, but I learned reloading 357 SIG and once you learn how to do that, you can load anything,
