So the first time I tried cocaine I was working in a warehouse, coming off a double. I got a text from my friend to go out after work, he wanted to hit up the strip club. I told him I wasn't gonna make it and I felt like a dick. I don't even know why. Flash forward to 10PM, I was dead fucking tired and having a conversation with the dude that sold drugs at my work.

This guy was living off of fucking RedBull and coke. We're heading out and he asked if I had plans and when I told him I was invited to go look at some titties, he was down. Immediately. I told him I was too tired and he takes out this fucking ziplock bag of white powder. Knew right away what it was. So we get set up in this dudes car and I'm like, super nervous, not because it was cocaine. Because it was in the fucking parking lot of where we work, 2 minutes after we clocked out. People are legit just standing around talking and I'm in a shitty brick of a Honda getting ready to do cocaine.

I struggle through my line because the shit stings and it smells like foot powder. I get done and I'm like, "thanks dude" and I leave. He says he'll follow me to the club and as I'm driving I get the rush. Just the most intense rush of energy I have every felt. I gunned it to the strip club, doing 90 on city streets, hop out, check my hair in the rear mirror and head inside.

The girl behind the counter just stares at me as I approach. Pay the entry fee and I'm heading in and the doorman stops me. "Bro, you got some uh..." and he taps his nose. Wipe my nose, little bloody, and some powder. Thank the dude and head inside. Meet up with my friends, start doing some shots and just enjoying my time. Who doesn't like some titties? An asshole, that's who. Time fucking flies and it's 3 AM when we decide to go home. I got one lap-dance and I'm halfway out the door when I fucking eat it.

I'm completely unable to move. Fucking crashed and hit my head on a nearby table. My buddy runs over and is like, "What the fuck?" And I'm like, "Nah, it's good dude, just carry me out." So he did. I'm fucking over his shoulder and I feel something dripping down my face. I busted my head open on the table. Pass out. Wake up in a hospital bed like a day later.

I used to work with a guy who had short fingernails except one long pinky nail that he kept really well manicured. Like he would constantly be filing it at work. Dude wasn't even trying to hide his drug dealing side business.

Many, many years ago a good local band would play every Sunday night at this pizza joint in town. Covers, but they were talented. Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, ..... you get the picture.

Needless to say there was a rather large group of us who would descend on the place every week. Mostly old Deadheads and newcomers to the Bus but not entirely. All sorts of wayward children (young and old) would get together. Really, whoever was welcome, if you were chill. Pizza! Beer! Music! What-have-you! What better way to recharge the batteries before another week of work.

After a while, every now and then there would be a guy here or there hanging around who just... tried too hard. To fit in, to look the part, to speak the language. Sooner or later they all started asking certain questions.

...we didn't tell them anything, either.

My third(?) time on Shrooms I had a really potent batch and instead of taking a reasonable amount, I was chomping 'em down like nobodies business. This started early, like 8 in the morning levels of early. I was 15 at the time and it was summer and so I had tons of free time so why not get fucking wasted, right?

I started feeling it around 11 or so and for whatever reason I was like, yo I'm gonna walk to Wendy's and get a burger. On the way, I passed a McDonalds and remember looking at this vivid, shitty painting on the window with the whole Ronald gang. I recall the face of the Hamburglar the most because it was so fucking poorly done.

When I get to Wendy's, I spot a group of friends, I put in my order and sat down to wait. My friend swears to God my eyes are like fucking dinner plates. Up to this point, stuff was pretty normal with some out of place vibrating on certain colors and aspects of peoples faces being super enhanced. I remember trying to brush the makeup off a friends face because it was so distracting.

Anyways, when I get up to grab my food (it was a long wait) I'm about halfway to the counter and I see him. Standing in the entryway of the fucking door and nobody but myself has acknowledged that he was there. It was like he had been pulled straight out of a cartoon. The most jarring thing to me was that he was frowning. The girl calls my number again and I snap out of this weird trance and get my food. As I grab the burger, I kind of like pass by him and he's mumbling. So I'm like, "Yo, wanna share?" and he gets really happy and he starts jumping up and down and me, being the asshole I am, was like "SYKE" and I go to my friends.

Sit down like normal and I'm eating and I see that the Hamburglar is just sitting outside moping. My friends are like wtf. Reflecting on it now, I'm pretty sure it was a homeless guy but my brain just repainted him in its ridiculously bombed state.

When I told my uncle about it, he told me he saw Mayor McCheese up a tree once. Which is why he doesn't go near trees at night.

No face happened before melting faces and it was because I tripled down on a hit of acid when the first one wasn't "doing anything" for me. I was at a concert and was jamming out when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Turn, a sea of faceless, bouncing, glowing people. Closest I've ever come to going to the hospital voluntarily.

The hardest jump from legal pot was from like a ~10% (give or take a percent or so) THC content to a 26% (give or take a percent or so). Now when you think of a 16%, you probably don't really expect much. You're probably like me going I can take the 16% difference, I love pot, I smoke that shit regularly.

This was the only time where I couldn't function on pot. I remember sitting on my couch, just blinking and staring off into space, like some fucking old school anti-pot ad actor. It wasn't unpleasant but it wasn't exactly satisfying because my blinks felt hyper slowed down and the resulting paranoia made me think I had been poisoned and a bit of nausea was not helping.

But that's what I get for smoking the whole blunt at once.

I knew he did, so I grabbed a fifth of smirnoff blue label which is like 100 proof and handed him the bottle. He opened it and proceeded to chug the entire thing like it was water. He then asked if there was anymore, and I was like "holy shit...yeah, hang on." and grabbed a red label smirnoff that was 80 proof I think and 3/4 of the way full and he chugs that. At that point, the guy who owned the house left. Then another person was going to leave and that would have left me there alone with this guy who just drank a couple fifths of vodka, so I left too. He was alone at my buddy's house for who knows how long before he walked home. Never found out what happened.

Withdrawal fucking sucks. If anyone tells you that you don't go through withdrawal when you stop smoking pot, they are liars. That's why I've been pretty moody these last few days. Summer is a pretty dry working period for me and I've run through my stash.

My worst withdrawal though was when I was Texas. I had to quit EVERYTHING cold turkey. It was brutal but I couldn't run the risk of crossing a border with pot and shrooms.

I would ask how often you smoke but it's a moot question. Whenever you introduce a chemical into your body it stops producing certain others. Trust me dude, you can get withdrawals from pot, perhaps not as badly as say meth but it's still there, just not quite so extreme.

Weed isn't chemically addictive. You can have "mental" withdrawals, which probably consists mostly of, "This sucks, I'm fucking bored." but you're not going to have any sort of physical withdrawal, unless you count that bag of Doritos being less awesome.

I've smoked pot for years and then quit cold turkey for extended periods and I had no real issues at all.

I did the same with cigarettes after smoking a pack a day for roughly 10 years. Just got tired of it one day and up and quit. The only thing that fucked with me was getting used to not smoking after eating. I was pretty surprised by the lack of withdrawals with cigs, since nicotine is supposed to be chemically addictive. Maybe I'm a cyborg.

You don't feel like shit for 3 days. It's legitimately one of those things you could potentially chain daily (bad idea) and not be hung over, if you want to pay that much time and money into a drug.

I found out the problem with these candies. They aren't cooked with THC, they got dipped in some kind of oil. I can see all the accrued oil on the bottom of the container. It also explains the damp look some of these candies have. This also makes them incredibly inconsistent.

My most recent was a few years ago. I was at a Renaissance Festival hanging out with friends. Doing dabs all night, ate a few hits of acid, and a little booze and regular herb. Some buddies start doing whip its which I had never done before, so I take a crack at it. After about the third one, my world started spinning. The tent/scene in front of me starting breaking into squares and the squares were just tiling, like spider vision times ten thousand... then it started spiraling... and I had this feeling that if I didn't do something or get help somehow, I would be lost forever. Like, perma-fried. And I just grabbed the chick next to me and started calling out for help. They started talking to me and pulled me back, but fuck if I didn't think I wasn't going to make it back. This all happened in probably 20 seconds but felt like at least 5 to 10 minutes.

Coolest visual I ever saw I was laying down at night, watching trees fight like giant transformers on a backdrop of melting stars. Oh, and glow stick paintings by fire light... those are pretty amazing watching the colors drip. Also, winamp visualizations to Pink Floyd... man I rode those waves of light and color for hours one night on my own after eating 2 hits of some strong stuff and watching Cowboys verses Aliens. Riding in a car with a good system and some bass... there's just so many amazing memories of crazy shit.

In regards to withdrawals from herb, everyone's body reacts differently to substances. Some people don't get addicted to alcohol. Some people do. I know when I quit smoking herb, I tend to notice the effects at night when trying to fall asleep. Sweats (no shakes) and restlessness are about the extent of it. It's not severe, and I can get to sleep, but it's not as easy as if I've been smoking all day, hit the pillow, and pass out in a minute or two. But I smoke a good bit over an O of good herb a month, so that could be why.

10% is pretty low THC/CBD content. I'm curious if it's a flat % and which way they would be leaning. My experience isn't too broad but I mean, the sole purpose of the THC is to get/keep your high there while CBD, which can be derived from more than just marijuana, is to manage symptoms. So it's a slightly 'smoother' high.

But again, 10% is low content to me. More testing needed, I suppose.
