Why is 7x the base enchantment for high end forging?

Hi All,

I was wondering why 7x seems to be the baseline when it comes to higher end perfect forged weapons.

Is it because there is a big jump in difficulty between 7x and 8x? Something else?

Because 7x is the highest enchant possible with normally available enchant potions. 8x-10x enchanting potions aren't readily available and are only released very rarely.

Also he potion for 8x costs more than a 7x perfect besides the enchanting time so usually people don’t sell cuz hard to make ur money back

I assume it is a demonic conspiracy. Demons can only be hit by 8x or better weapons.
