I'm curious as to what Tsin does for a living..Or does a trust fund let him do absolutely what people would dream of?
I don't ever recall him ever talking about what he does in life..I'd love to know more about him :)

Looks like he has made a business of buying/selling GS stuff.
400 million @ $14 per million = $5,600
If he sold 200 million in one day.. he's on pace to make $728,000 if he works 5 days a week for a year.
:D

He wouldn't be the first... Wall Street Journal ran an article a while back off someone else making their living off GS3, $100k plus a year in sales.
Nice work if you can get it.

You forget the minor detail of attaining 200m every day to sell, but who looks at anything logically anymore?:tumble:
All you need is a nice RL cash investment and you're in.

Wasn't that Ciston who was in the article? The name escapes me, but he owned or his wife owned that movie publishing thing?

Was Ciston, who's also a screenwriter.

I have tried to shrink it to an acceptable size.. and reload the thing onto this bug infested website.. to no avail.
I even went as far as allowing Bobmuhthol access to my account to take care of said objective.. again, without avail.
The big ass dwarf stays until it's fixed.
I'll let your excuse slide this time.

For those asking.. I am graduating this fall from a University with a major in astronomy and physics and a minor in oceanography. I was also accepted into the Astro-biology graduate school program and plan to go next year.
And no.. I have never had a job in my life.

You know I used to get mad and pissed off when I heard about people that went through life without having to work (I realize that you in particular are planning on continuing your education which is cool) because their parents are rich (might not be the case) or whatever. However now that I think about it.. I'm glad at least someone didn't have to go through the hell that is pushing carts and stocking shelves for next to nothing while everyone told them it builds character. It's not your fault you have money, and I'd imagine that most of us in the same situation such at yourself would probably not have a job unless they had to either. Good luck with your school though, hopefully you'll be doing something you want to do.

Actually you should come up through the ranks, it makes you a better manager as you've actually been in the shoes of those you're leading. To say otherwise is folley. It's rare that someone taking on any type of leadership role(such as what a degree often offers) with no real world experience or actual grunt work finds themself in a position where they are respected by their subordinates. Which makes for piss poor morale and a lessened productivity/effectiveness.
^ The above is my opinion and only my opinion. As we all know, though, my opinion is law so might as well buck up and like it
Good luck furthering the education, improving yourself through study is hardly ever a bad thing. Especially if it's towards something you have a passion for.

Before I knew Tsin's situation I was going to exclaim LAZY-ASS. But, knowing now the degree of education he is getting, its not like he is wasting his parents money and not getting any return out of it.
I mean its not like he's wasting it on getting a bachelors in photography. :D
HOWEVER, I don't know if I'd be any where NEAR as good a leader in the field of work I'm in now if I hadn't struggled up from my past grunt-work jobs to get where I am now. I have a much easier time dealing with chaotic situations and know how to play my cards right to get people to do what I ask them to without having to bend anyone's arm.
I'm sure other people might be able to skip all that and handle similar situations fine but that's how I look at it.
And this is so off-topic now so I'm going to shut up.
I think its great that Tsin is able to pull a profit off of his Gemstone endeavors. I'm not sure if his methods are the condusive to RP within the game, but then again Gemstone isnt really known for its RP now is it...
When I liquidate I'll never see the amounts that he's been able to pull from the game, but I hope to see enough from it to make for a good time in Vegas.
More power to him. Ancticor's theory only applies to the military, in my opinion. I'd rather not have a grunt that works there way up, because they usually hold fast onto their "redneck hardwork through physical strength" is the only way to go.

Either you're misreading or I'm misconveying (that's a word.) the point. But it's neither here nor there so let's get this tread back on track and just agree that I'm right.
Tsin sell me that jeddart-axe for retarded cheap. You know you want to.

My point was that he's a moron even after being educated at "a University." Duh.

I can't begin to imagine where he gets all his high end stuff...it amazes me that one person can have so much unreal stuff, but he does.
That being said, you can't assume that all the silvers/items he is selling for cash is straight profit as he has, over time, paid real life dollars for a lot of the items and silvers he has acquired.
You can bet that it's BIG dollars he's spent over the years on items and silvers.

Its no feat. Just make alot of coin every day and buy it. Hunting OTF 12 hours a day, taking every bit of treasure = nice profit.
