That's A way. But, a single sale, bought by the very person selling it five years ago, is likely a poor gauge of an item's value in the current market. If you're not looking at comps (recent sales of other items with similar properties) you're only getting one side of the picture.

I bought 8x full plate, max light, nothing else special for 20m some years back. 7x vanilla may go between 5 and 15m. Pp for a "vanilla" 7-8x cast is 2800 and thats more than 20m silver today. Duskruin 7-8x is overpriced, as is a wizard 7-8x potion. Dunno what duskruin tier 2 voln certs sell for but its more than 7m

Basically, all of this AND fluctuation says this is worth more than the mb and your negative comment only served to get this thread more attention.

Oh yeah and you were right it was spiked in the previous sale (in alter) but not specified by inspect


Oh and what the current price of silver the day of the sale does influence the value, and its not up.

Right so, just to clear things up. It IS the same as when I bought it. I'm prime, don't do festivals, and I don't play at night so I basically never see the opportunity to modify items. I also go through cycles of playing the game for 2-3 months, then canceling for 6 months.

I'm selling the plate because I purchased new plate (at current silver prices) and I need to purchase a one handed+shield (at current silver prices). I priced the MB what I remember paying for it even so and I'm not sure if I am the purchaser from the linked auction. I think I bought it of LNET, but I could be remembering wrong. It has been a couple years.
