... Sucks.

I used to think that just driving defensively would be all I really needed to do, as I found out today thats not true. I was driving through an intersection and a lady who had a yield tried to make a left turn before I got there. I ended up colliding with her nearly head on. Luckily we are both alright, they took her to the hospital to check into some slight chest pains but hopefully that doesnt turn into too much. I'm still kindof in shock from the whole experience, never had a first hand experience with airbags and all that.... alright gonna stop rambling and find the painkillers they gave for my knee.

(sucks being 6'5 in an accident, my knees were jammed against the dashboard. Medic on the scene said I was lucky that my legs weren't broken from being that close to the dash...)

edit: oh yeah, both cars are totalled and some. getting to class and work should be interesting for a bit.

Glad there were no serious injuries Elrodin. I hear ya about being tall.. banged up my knees pretty bad in my car accident a few years ago.

Sorry to hear about your fender bender dooode. Hope you're ok and all, especially with those knees. OUCH.

More importantly what kind of drugs did they give you for the pain? My favorite combo is the Flexoril/Vicodin cocktail I've been given after a nice hefty accident. Only downside is that I lost track of about a week or so until the perscription wore off.

I'm sorry this happened to you, hon, but it's great to know you weren't seriously injured.
