I'm curious, did you all vote?
I happen to like Bush over Gore, but seems I'm in minority. I see a lot of criticisms of him, but oddly enough, he was elected by a majority of the voting public.
Just curious, not a flame or anything.

I do not hate Mini Bush, just feel embarased that he is the leader of the US.
He might be a nice next door neighbor much like his father was, but unlike his father I find him horribly lacking not only in intelligence, but in the supposed morals he and his posse love to espouse.
I voted, against him. Was not a huge Gore fan, but he was on the table.
And while he was put in office by the electors, no he was not elected by the majority of the voting public.

"Associated Press, December 22, 2000"
"Vice President Gore won the nation's popular vote in the presidential election by more than 500,000 votes, according to official totals made available Thursday to The Associated Press. An AP survey of all 50 states' final election numbers showed that Democrat Gore led President-elect Bush, the former GOP governor of Texas, by 539,947 votes. Final numbers show Gore with 50,996,116 votes and Bush with 50,456,169. Bush won the White House by capturing 271 electoral votes, one more than the Constitution requires. The popular vote total includes all absentee ballots that were counted in the weeks following the Nov. 7 election."
And yeah, that was scary..that box..heh. Nooo.

Anything in parenthesis is mine because it's late and I'm feeling goofy. (I secretly want one)

• Gift for a child/college student interested in political science (I would like to thank my parents and my pop up George)
• Prize at ladies’ Bunco game (I don't even know what Bunco is but sounds like this could be a really good prize at one)
• Gift for a toy collector
• Show-and-tell item for school presentation (Mommy made me bring it)
• Day-brightener for a sick friend (yeah... if you want to kill them)
• Mother or Father’s Day gift (throw a salute in also)

Actually, the popular vote was for Gore. The electorial college was for Bush.
I did not vote. Gore won my state. Call me stupid, flame broil, oh, I mean, fire grill me for it. I didn't have any weed to smoke so I didn't go to the polls.
