Hello there. Perhaps a bit of context for anyone who might surprisingly be interested might help . . .

I started playing GS just after the switch to AOL, and was on a seven-year hiatus until late last year. Night-and-day difference in the availability and pervasiveness of uber slick in-game toys. Warden’s gotta be long gone and his grave stone cold for today’s in-game reality to exist. Love the changes, by the way.

My throwaway downtime has always been inconsistent and infrequent, leading to only one 70-something character and a few 20-somethings. Attempting to buy a character I didn't "raise" really doesn’t suit me, but it’s more personally appealing than the litany of comparative in- and out-of-game alternatives, or just dropping the game altogether as an occasional reality break.

So after a lot of internal debate in recent months, this is my very recent capitulation toward being able to self-generate higher-end gear for my characters.

A sufficiently trained enchanting wizard would represent too high an opportunity cost for me to grow from scratch, and it’d be great to have a potential rescue wizard on call (after some minimal spell-circle adjustments), besides. Depart confirm packs an especially nasty sting compared with once upon a time.

So here I am on these boards.

Based on recent character comps, sales, the min. bid, etc., $557 seemed about right as a potential settlement price, so thought I'd throw that out as a bid. However, I'd happily pay a whole lot less for a similarly skilled wizard if anyone is feeling incredibly generous and wants to throw that option my way ;o).
