Define cheap. I've found several flights going from here to there for $500 (or 300ish pounds) on expedia or travelocity or one of those.

Have you tried teletext hon? Its annoying but if you let it flick through there are some ok ones I'm sure. I think 4 is the channel for flights and stuff.
