Surname sharing

Ok, so I have a question.

My character, A has a surname. I would like to share the surname with my other character; character B.

If I share the surname with character B and then reroll or delete character A will the shared surname stay in place/carry over on character B or will it disappear?

It seems impractical that it wouldnt stay but you know, I have to ask before i do my little experiment. It would suck to lose the name because the name is awesome. :)

I don't know the answer to your question though, I don't think the whole surname sharing system is well documented enough.

You won't lose your last name just because the person who gave it to you is deleted.


Edit: I have no proof of this. It's an assumption based on data handling. It's simply illogical.
