Not with 100% promise. Odds are in your favor, though.

if it helps any, i did a 7x with about the same stats, at level 50, with 75 EMC, 104 MIU, 51 900, and 43 500, in a workshop with a familiar

forget off hand what the other factors are, or i would have listed

I was going to try 6x until I moved my training so I could get the armor ranks I want.

Name: Anticor Rifling Race: Giant Profession: Wizard (shown as: War Mage)
Gender: Male Age: 45 Expr: 3414172 Level: 59
Normal (Bonus) ... Enhanced (Bonus)
Strength (STR): 95 (37) ... 95 (37)
Constitution (CON): 89 (29) ... 89 (29)
Dexterity (DEX): 86 (13) ... 86 (13)
Agility (AGI): 80 (10) ... 80 (10)

Aura (AUR): 100 (20) ... 100 (20)

Intuition (INT): 74 (12) ... 74 (12)
Wisdom (WIS): 83 (16) ... 83 (16)
Influence (INF): 76 (18) ... 76 (18)
Mana: 183 Silver: 0

Anticor (at level 59), your current skill bonuses and ranks (including all modifiers) are:
Skill Name | Current Current
| Bonus Ranks
Armor Use..........................| 130 35
Combat Maneuvers...................| 160 60
Polearm Weapons....................| 161 61
Physical Fitness...................| 105 25
Arcane Symbols.....................| 145 45
Magic Item Use.....................| 145 45
Spell Aiming.......................| 220 120
Harness Power......................| 158 58
Elemental Mana Control.............| 90 20
Elemental Lore - Air...............| 120 30
Perception.........................| 120 30
Climbing...........................| 120 30
Swimming...........................| 105 25

Major Elemental....................| 31

Minor Elemental....................| 59

Wizard.............................| 30

Now I'm not going to try anything higher than 5x until I get more MIU and AS. If lots of luck and love are on my side and I get my armor taken to LBP I can drop down to 27 armor ranks freeing up an assload of points for MIU and AS.

With 30 ranks in Wizard, I wouldn't even think of doing a 6x enchant. 30 < for the most part > would assure you could do 5x, though.

Do you all find that Enchant is overly complicated, or do you find the current system (Despite the no 8x-up) mechanics and factors involved acceptable?

I don't mind it for the simple fact that I can go do something else instead of camping out by a pool infusing day in and out to make a cast.

my view is enchant is a much improved spell from GS3. my largest complaint is that you are not allowed a major project for each slot (5,6,and 7) and there has been no release of special potions to allow for anything above 7 enchants.

I did a few high enchants under the old mechanics...it was beyond tedious.

Anyone able to post a list of which potions to use for the different enchants? I seem to have lost mine.

Rohnuru will temper anything less than +6
Duqnuru will temper anything less than +16
Dirtokh will temper anything less than +26
Mirtokh will temper anything less than +31

Have they made any hints at selling things to temper more than 7x at merchant events or anything.
