Reporter who is almost always called on by Bush during press conferences is scrutinized for possibly being White House 'plant' (http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/articles/2005/02/02/white_house_friendly_reporter_under_scrutiny/)

Jeff Gannon (http://www.jeffgannon.com/), the reporter in the article, has his own website. This guy dosen’t have an agenda, nah...

It seems that Mr. Gannon - which isn't his real name as it turns out - has resigned his position. His webpage listed above now says:

Because of the attention being paid to me I find it is no longer possible to effectively be a reporter for Talon News. In consideration of the welfare of me and my family I have decided to return to private life.

'Effectively be a reporter'. Funny how being revealed as a ringer and shill for the administration makes him less effective.

So let's see... One phony Medicare video pretending to be an actual news report. 3 right wing journalists paid to parrot back admininstration positions. 1 so-called journalist planted in the news room to feed questions at the proper moments.

And that's only what's managed to come to light. Great use of taxpayer money. (And no, I don't think Bush is directly responsible. But his neo-con administration certainly is.)

It gets funnier (and more unfortunate for certain folks). He's apparently been connected with a series of gay sex related domain names, as well as potentially being backed by a PHD engineer from Texas named Eberle who's a big Republican operative. Was he blackmailed into it? Or is he a self-hating gay fellow ala Roy Cohn? Fox News of course isn't touching this.

Check CBS.. because I'm sure they are not only covering this "operative", but if the information isn't bad enough to promote next weekend's 60 Minutes.. they'll just make some more shit up.

Eh, probably. I don't watch CBS, NBC, or ABC either. For all the annoyance, Fox actually makes mildly entertaining news. I get most of my real news from various wire feeds, CNN, and some web sources.

Fox apparently isn't covering it because he's involved with Hannity. Seems like Talon actually came out of the mid 90's... just seems like it recently got severely more bent however... add in the reporter who isn't who he claims he is and voila.

The only time I watch Fox News is over at my In-laws.. who watch it religiously. I too find it entertaining.

Well... what they discuss and what Drudge discusses match eerily.
