Hello again Paladins. Recently returning and originally was going to focus on my warrior, but I just love role-playing my Paladin in game. Awhile back I ran an OHE build, but for past few years focused on Polearms. So took tonight to clean him up and fixskill over.

Thaluhar (at level 62), your current skill bonuses and ranks (including all modifiers) are:
Skill Name | Current Current
| Bonus Ranks
Armor Use..........................| 190 90
Shield Use.........................| 228 128
Combat Maneuvers...................| 228 128
Edged Weapons......................| 239 139
Multi Opponent Combat..............| 155 55
Physical Fitness...................| 164 64
Harness Power......................| 164 64
Spiritual Lore - Religion..........| 155 55
Perception.........................| 164 64
Climbing...........................| 120 30
Swimming...........................| 120 30

Spell Lists
Paladin............................| 35

Combat Maneuver training is as follows:

Dirtkick dirtkick 2
Feint feint 5
Charge charge 2
Subdual Strike sstrike 2
Specialization I wspec1 5
Bull Rush bullrush 2
Surge of Strength surge 1
Trip trip 2

Shield Specialization training is as follows:

Skill name Mnemonic Ranks
Tower Shield Focus tfocus 5
Shield Bash bash 2
Prop Up prop 3
Block the Elements eblock 3
Protective Wall pwall 2

Priorities as working way to 80 (probably another 3 years) is: Shield Bash to rank 5, CDEF to rank 5. Armor to 150. Slowly work on bringing up 100's (done with Lores till cap or unless I get 120, whichever comes first).

Seems to be working well so far with testing I did tonight. Sadly his AS and DS are both higher than my Warrior with same outside spells... even though my warrior is 18 trains higher /wrist. Absurd if you ask me.. Give Warriors 3x CM!!!

Anyways, if you need any help or assistance in the 60-70's range or a hunting partner feel free to find me. Nice to be back among you all.

Thaluhar

What race is this guy and how's that dirtkick working for you? I had dirtkick on a DE ranger and it was real hit and miss (lots of miss) I didn't notice it was worth the time to do it.

I took Dirtkick as a temp filler/defensive option (though honestly not sure what does dirtkick - thought bandits did?)... but against Illoke Mystics (5 trains above me) I have a 45% chance to hit them. I think if I had 5 ranks it would be amazing currently.

I just rebonded to my weapon so I'm missing some support on the bonuses, so it's slightly weaker until I kill enough. Also since I'm missing Trample that I had on my warrior, I thought it would be a decent ability to have.

After respec'ing I looked at the costs again and might actually bump it to 5 ranks. Between it, feint, and our spell's it should work okay.

I would probably drop Subdual Strike to fit it in.. since yea it's annoying when bandits SSTRIKE you, but it's not a game ender...

Open to recommendations though... as you can see my main focus is on Maneuver Protection.

Thaluhar is a Vaalor Elf. Still have to get his residency moved now that I think about it.

Just did a same level bandit task...

Dirtkick came in very handy. In defensive I was able to hit them 75% of the time. Only 3 seconds RT. I may just boost it up. Made them a joke for me at least.

Unless the extra two mana is really important to you, I'd knock back your Harness Power to at-level, to save yourself some TPs... otherwise, looks very similar to my elf-paladin's training.

I could see how for a Ranger possibly not to beneficial.. just cast Tangleweed.. but especially for the bandits I did (which I love doing) it came in extremely handy.. specifically cause I could do it from Defensive on the initial engagement and get one or two of them into RT quickly. Was somewhat surprised at it's effectiveness to be honest, since it had been years since I used it.
