I don't mean to demean anyone's beliefs. However I have never understood why fanatical Christians and Jews are looking forward to the end of the world. Personally I like it here.

The Seventh Day Adventists are also looking forward to it so they can cast aside their evangelizing and slaughter the unbelievers. Me, I'm bored with notions of the Apocalypse.

No one is looking forward to the end of it, just some people of those religions are preparing for it.

If you ever watch Jack Van Impe on TV he seems in rapture about the idea of the apocalypse. Revelations is the guy's favourite book in the Bible.

If you watch X-Files on TV, you'll notice that they say aliens really exist. Both people have the same credibility. Consider the source.

Much of religion in early America was spread in hopes of cleansing the world, hastening the return of Jesus.
