In the mesh sack:
gem (200): an uncut diamond (100), an uncut emerald (100).

Purified and verified all are orbs.

The gem dealer takes the mesh sack and inspects the contents carefully before saying, "I did find 200 gems that I'll give you 2031158 silver for, if you want to sell." (101 ranks in trading)

Will end auction tomorrow (Tuesday 04/10) at 8pm EST.

How many are chrism quality?

I have a script that sorts any orb over 3,000 value. What value is worthwhile for a chrism? I thought it just had to be an orb for a chrism.

Any gem that is purified completely is an "orb" which can be imbued or other magical nonsense I am unfamiliar with. The wiki lists the threshold for chrisms at orbs over 3k value. Now that I have woken up a bit it strikes me that diamond/emeralds would be pretty hard to be pure and below 3k. I bought bulk mixed orbs once and I think half were actually usable for chrisms.

Yea I don't think diamonds/emeralds sell for less than 3k. Also my definition of an ORB gem is when sung to says "and you feel it trying to draw power from you." Not every diamond/emerald I purify gives me this message.

So I would think that every single one of these should be chrism quality.

Hi Ososis, this is incorrect. A gem can be purified to maximum value and still not be an "orb" gem capable of holding an imbed or chrism.

Kinda semantics maybe, but actually, a gem can be -sung- to max value and not be pure, thus not an orb. If a gem is pure, it's an orb, but not always valuable enough for a chrism, which needs to be worth at least 3001 silvers. It's infrequent, but I've blessed pure diamonds and emeralds that were pure but could not be chrismed. In that event, sometimes people like dims or air or something in them instead (or just sell the gem).
