Hey all - I am just checking out the place again. I wanted to see if anyone I knew was still playing... or better said - anyone I was friends with in game. I am struggling on my MAC and seeing if it is worth breaking out an old PC that I doubt works.
Weird after all this time I still remember my way around....

I had the best help from Doug when I bought a new Mac. He was able to get my Lich working with Avalon ... I made a valiant try to use it for 2-3 weeks before it made me too batty.

Doug then got me set up with Wine and StormFront with my Lich and I've been happy since then. Or at least as happy as you can get using StormFront...

After that, I set up Profanity on my Mac, which runs from terminal mode, but ... it's really REALLY bare bones. There's a couple scripts I need to write before I can use it with my main character.

There are a number of us Mac users, some of them run SF under Parallels, I am just happy with Wine for the time being.

I’m not usually big on chatting, but when I ask for help or offer it, I find lots of non-robots pretty much everywhere (except ghost towns like Zul, where you rarely see anyone at all). There’s some AFK scripters everywhere, but I haven’t found them to be particularly prevalent anywhere.
