Anyone with some direction on this? I have the 5 like ores in crucible and I figured I'd try doing this at the smelter but no luck with the interactions I've tried.

I think you have to buy the crucible form a wrought iron cart with a small note on it. One north and one west from the main gate to Bloodriven.

I did purchase that crucible for the 250 bs.
>anal cruc
a small iron crucible is a container to hold clumps of ore used in a transmutation process to change the material of completed Moonshard Pendants. The crucible can only hold 5 pieces of ore at one time, and all must be of the same type of ore.
> l in cruc
Inside the iron crucible you see a lump of krodera ore, a lump of krodera ore, a lump of krodera ore, a lump of krodera ore, and a lump of krodera ore.

How do I then fire it up and transmute?

Put crucible in bloodforge and there will be some messaging.

Once it says something to the effect that it’s cooled enough to handle get the crucible from the bloodforge.

Touch bloodforge to cut your hand then pour the crucible on your pendant.

Thank you. I had been getting frustrated...but then I was in the wrong room (smelter room next door).

Yep that was me last night but thanks to Roblar and Grid I now have a white ora pendant for my cleric.

They really should move the archaeologist out of that room, the scroll made it hard to see the bloodforge messaging [emoji53]

Just made another one. For future reference:

Need 5 types of the same ore and a crucible from the cart: [Bloodriven Village, Gloam Pike - 23744]
Place the ores in your crucible and go to the bloodforge: [Bloodforge, Workshop - 26091]

>l in my cruc
Inside the iron crucible you see a lump of veil iron ore, a lump of veil iron ore, a lump of veil iron ore, a lump of veil iron ore, and a lump of veil iron ore.

>put cruc in bloodforge
You place your iron crucible into a small fire pit on the bloodforge, seating it carefully between some burning coals. The surrounding embers begin to glow a scarlet-crimson, and the chunks of veil iron ore begin to shift around at the bottom of a small iron crucible.

Burning embers within the small pit on the bloodforge flare, and the crucible begins to take on the same hue as the heating coals.

As the iron crucible heats up, yellowish orange threads of light begin to emerge from the base of the dark crucible, twining upwards toward the rim of the small bowl.

The iron crucible continues to heat up, and the yellow-orange hued threads take on a more reddish hue as they weave a web of light on the crucible's exterior. The lumps of ore within the iron crucible begin to melt.

Snaking eagerly along the crucible, the reddish threads curl over the bowl's rim in search of the bubbling liquid inside.

The iron crucible begins to vibrate between the surrounding coals, and bright crimson flames erupt from the crucible. Intensely hot metal churns within the bowl.

Shifting from deep crimson to pale yellow, the iron crucible's glow essentially dissipates, but the liquid metal continues to bubble and boil furiously.

The glowing aura fades from the iron crucible, indicating it may be cool enough to pick up. Wisps of crimson steam rise from the liquid metal and form patterns of swirls that resemble letters.

You feel a tug against your hand toward the bloodforge.

>get cruc from bloodforge
You carefully retrieve your crucible from the bloodforge.

>touch bloodforge
You reach out and jab your hand firmly against a sharp blade at the edge of the bloodforge. Warm blood begins to seep from your palm and trickles down your fingers, dripping slowly into the crucible. As each droplet meets the liquid metal, a quick *hissssss* and a puff of smoke rises from the crucible while swirls of crimson churn within the scalding liquid.

>pour cruc on my pendant
You tip a small iron crucible slowly, its bubbling veil iron sluggisly spilling out onto a moon-filled alexandrite pendant. As the crimson-streaked liquid makes contact, the pendant flashes brightly and begins to absorb the thick fluid, changing the pendant's material from alexandrite to veil iron, right before your eyes!

As the last drop of liquid spills from your iron crucible, the small container explodes in your hand!

>glance
You glance down to see a moon-filled veil iron pendant in your right hand and nothing in your left hand.
