Candice Bergen will return as her iconic namesake character, who famously jousted with real-life Vice President Dan Quayle, in a revival of the popular comedy, with CBS on Wednesday ordering 13 episodes for the 2018-19 TV season.

The original series frequently interacted with reality. Murphy Brown would respond to things politicians actually said and incorporate it into the show. Sometimes the politicians would respond. It should be a good match for the Trump era.

Guess with this and the Rosanne reunion, the old tv personalities must be broke. Or maybe the networks have figured out that their SJW and "reality" TV crap isn't cutting it.

Will and Grace is absolutely terrible. I used to love that show.. now it's just trying too hard.

When even TV comedies about gays can't make jokes about gays. SJW's would be all over them these days. It's tough making jokes while making sure not to offend.
