A few of the first states (not VA) were screwing me up because I knew where they went - but missed by like 1/4 inch.

I missed a couple because of that as well. It doesn't help to talk on your cell phone while doing this either.

I have the advantage of having lived in quite a few of the middle states. And I'm a nerd.
I liked it :) Fun game

Yes, but they're scary. Western Kansas and Southern Missouri are just as bad. Um, no offense to anyone from any of those places :D

I tried to reproduce this feat now for about 5 times.. no such luck.
It's all about which states you are given and when. Start out with IOWA first or Nebraska.. and you are fucked.

Iowa is one of those subtle states, unlike the "Look at me, I'm hanging off the edge of the country!" attention grubbing of Florida or the "I'm way up here in the North by myself!" show-offing of Alaska.
It's good to not live in such an obnoxious state.

Lessee. The island of Great Britain is 88,745 square miles. That makes it like the size of Minnesota. It can't be that hard to be good at!
Can you explain this to me, though? If the Queen is the Queen of England, who is in charge of the rest of the country? And, is Great Britain even a country? Isn't England a country? What's the difference between the UK and Great Britain?
I'm honestly curious, I don't mean to pick on our resident.. uh... Brits?

Ok, I'll give you a quick run down. The Queen is not in charge of anything or anywhere. She is simply a figurehead as is the entire monarchy. They bring in a lot of money through tourism but they also spend a lot of public money on private helicopters etc.
Great Britain or the United Kingdom consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are all one nation and our Prime Minister is Tony Blair. He is the Prime Minister (and therefore 'in charge') of the whole of Great Britain. So, although England is a country, it is part of Great Britain as a whole.
The UK and Great Britain are basically the same thing, just different words.

So, um (another stupid question), do people from Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland still consider her queen? Whenever she is refered to here, it is always the "Queen of England", not the "Queen of Great Britain."
Jorddyn, learning crap
Edited to add: I knew Tony Blair was the prime minister, I'm just trying to figure out the Queen thing :)

Scotland had their own monarchy (before England, in fact). I think they got united under the one (English) monarchy, though.
