Some guy decides to commit suicide in LA.. parks his vehicle on the tracks so it's stuck, waits for the train to come, as the train is coming at him, he changes his mind, gets out of the vehicle and watches the train crash and kill a bunch of people. Just changed his mind...

Why doesn't it list the occupations of the other 8? Liberial media sucks it hard and long.

GLENDALE, California (CNN) -- A commuter train crash and derailment killed at least nine people, including a sheriff's deputy, on Wednesday outside Los Angeles, fire officials said.

Some jacked up people out there for sure, and I'll bet he'll get off too considering he was "suicidal" and just end up in a mental hospital.

FWIW - I take the train following the one that derailed every morning. Had that moronic bastard done this 45 minutes later, and it would have been me crawling out of a derailed and smashed up train.

I know that section of track quite well, since I go through there every day. It's a pretty straight-on section and the trains are usually moving at a serious clip ... in the 60-80 MPH range. On an interesting side-note, one of my co-workers takes that earlier train everyday. However today he drove into work because afterwards he is going to the Commerce Casino to play in a WPT Tournament Event. So .. it's likely that his poker addiction actually saved his life!

Between the rains undermining the tracks and disrupting and this crash, the commuter train has been a complete mess this month.

The reason is .. that it was the only profession they knew for sure because he was in uniform. The County Sheriff was on scene almost immediately and ade the annoucement to the media.

That train originates in Simi Valley where a large number of law enforcement people live. Metrolink has a deal where if you ride in uniform you ride for free. I see a LOT of unformed people the Ventura County line. In fact the running joke is that that line is the safest in America because almost every train has 4 or 5 cops on it going to and from work!

We talked about this in training today. The instructors said it was originally though that the guy was just pulling an insurance scam.

Very screwed up. Death by train is a bad way to go.

OMG I KNOW SOMEONE FROM SIMI VALLEY. Except she has hooves like the boogey man and horns that make a the goat faced devil jealous!
