For the life of me I cant get my companion to stay! After petting, feeding, spelling him up, and playing with him constantly, I get With a momentary backward glance, a rock ferret turns and slowly moves away, finally disappearing from sight. This is like the fifth time this has happened! Please someone tell me what Im doing wrong?

I seem to remember you have to try to 'BEFRIEND' them? But I could be wrong, it's been forever since I got my companion.

Try checking the wiki (gswiki.play.net) there are likely more in-depth instructions there.

Did you ever get that samoyed to stay or are you starting over? I would consider contacting a GM to see if something is interfering with the taming process, because I've never had this issue myself.
