Just wanted to say I have one of these and it's fucking awesome. When it double-flares the second flare REALLY likes to aim for necks. :) Safe to use anywhere too, no environmental hazards!

Yeah, greater elemental flares are awesome, but 40m is pretty steep when you could just get a nervestaff. These are considerably rarer, of course, so I suppose you could make the case for that price. At least you don't have to build affinity for weeks (or months) before you get the flares.

Nerve staff can zap you on the 2nd floor of Nelemar, main reason I got the air staff. Having both doesn't suck!
