I have a weapon alter box, that’s what lets me add a skin or gem to a weapon handle, but it only works on weapons. There are shoe, and container and maybe other specific boxes, then there is an everything box that will work on all the things. Personally I was underwhelmed with the alters on clothes. While some of the looks were cool, it was too random for me to want to risk my cool gear getting one of the meh looks
