a mystical fireleaf crossbow--heavy crossbow, 5x enchanted, self ammo, permablessed, bolts have random enchantment from +1 to +25 (for a max of 10x AS) and random amounts of damage weighting. I think it has a lore song, if that's worth anything to anyone.

a fitted adamantine-scaled dark leather breastplate--leather breastplate (ASG 9), 6x enchanted (+27), adamantine properties (can randomly shatter non-magical weapons, disarm magical weapons, and deflect bolt spells), adamantine can be padded, etc.

Why is the crossbow so cheap? I know crossbows are generally regarded as trash but I'd think any type of ebow even a crossbow would sell for much higher. $400 is like 72-80m silvers at $5.5 and $5 per.

I happen to love my newly acquired 5x gnomish mechanical xbow. With the scripts I setup it's quite good at murdering shit - particularly since I'm a smaller race.

The only negative to crossbows are the cock RT, which can range anywhere from 5-12 seconds depending on your race/STR.

Crossbows are slower but have slightly better AVD and DF, plus the AS bonus. They also have a 3-8% DS loss compared to a bow depending on stance. That’s a good price on the crossbow. I almost bought it myself.
