Taking cash only offers on a few higher end containers. I apologize in advance, but I must ignore any "what are you asking" messages.

1 pound empty/200 capacity backpack (33% weight reducing)

6 pound empty/200 capacity cloak (25% weight reducing)

50 lb weightless beltworn bag (sold)

4 lbs empty/60 capacity beltworn bag (first 25 lbs weightless)

Cash only!

Since nobody's bidding I'll go $500 on the 50 lb bag.

My fault for not clarifying. This is not an auction. I've no pressing need to sell these items, so I would only be inclined to accept buyout-level offers.

100m isn't bad for a 50 pound weightless bag. Bliz what do you think its really worth?

Considering a 50 percent reducing bag is going for 1500 you're obviously way off.

I agree with Hels above. Let me break it down.

A 50% cloak with 200 lb capacity is currently bid at $1,500, which means a 100 lb weight reduction = $1500

This bag offers 50 lb weight reduction, so its "comp" is $750.

But wait: weightless containers are mechanically superior to weight reducing because it requires no "carried weight." That is, in order to take advantage of the full 100 lb reduction, you have to add a total of 200 lbs to your load, half of which has to be "carried." With weightless bags, anything up to its capacity zeros out for encumbrance purposes and results in no additional carried weight. So it's essentially an x lb (with x being the container's capacity) permanent encumbrance reducer.

Agreed. The only downsides are the necessity to open/close said container to derive benefits, and less utility derived from a smaller container.

whats the downside of closing? you can pick it in sloot and it auto closes everytime....

Also weight reducing vs. completely multi tier weightless isn't even comparable....

For you to get the 100 pounds weightless on a 50 percent 200 pound container you have to find 200 pounds of shit first

The pure 50 pound weightless its just weightless you don't need 100 pounds to make 50 pounds weightless.

So that box you put in that cloak that weighs 38 pounds you only saved 16.5 pounds you put that same box in the weightless you saved 38 pounds.

thus why 150 pound weightless containers are like 3k +

I've got sloot, loot, lootbegone, useherbs, and various hunting and custom scripts running, it's trickier to not run into occasional issues when your container is closed by one script and needs to be accessed by another, or you need to regularly check presence of some item in your container. It's not unresolvable, obviously, just a minor annoyance to deal with, and creates a bit of extra spam. Also found a weapon is best stored in an open container for faster access and less random issues. All that having been said, weightless containers are still a far superior choice.

Not sure I understand the math, but considering I have 2 weightless bags that I might sell I hope you get millions!

What are you asking for the weightless belt worn, and do you accept silver?
