did you install all the supporting stuff? did you see any additional errors or miss any messages ? Something is missing or blocked on your work computer.

Everything seems to be installed. Clicked all buttons on ruby, it updated stormfront as well.

WHen you launched lich the first time, did it install sqlite3 and all the supporting stuff?
Did you install ruby 2.0.0 ? (usually you get into game and get errors with that one)
Does it even open the character selector?

you extracted LICH to your documents folder. It's recommended to NOT run lich from your documents folder. Desktop folder or extracting to a custom location other than your Documents folder tends to work better due to UAC issues.

From the website - Otherwise, Lich should be extracted to your Documents folder or another place that can be written to without admin rights.

So I'm not sure how to fix that then! But it's a start thanks so far for the help

oh, did you hit the stormfront button on the bottom so it tries to open the right client? i forgot that once, its kinda easy to mis button.
The documents folder is not subject to UAC like the root of C: is or other places... Documents/desktop are both fine.

Generally speaking, I've usually gone back and uninstalled everything and started from the beginning and had success. Unless there is an antivirus or other protection program that is acting over zealous, its usually something that was missed during the install.

Yup, stormfront is selected. It tries to launch, then gives me that error loading 6 message I first posted.

Usually that is something wrong with sge launcher. Try downloading and reinstalling it from here: https://www.play.net/gs4/play/launcher.asp
