Recently returned and am looking to play a pally for a bit, looking for some guidance I am currently training in dodging as well as shield use but I am contemplating dropping the dodge for multi opponent.

Porque no los dos? What's the TP situation?

I don't have enough to 1x both dodge and multi, I do have roughly 50 fee physical tps at lvl 16 with my current build

Can we see your build? IMO, you usually won't have much in the way of TP's. Especially if you're 1x spells. 1x dodge, 2x weapon, at least 1x shield, as much armor as you can possibly fit in, 1x hp, then everything else. Points are tight for a young paladin. I don't think 1x MOC is manageable but ultimately that will depend on how you want to train.

You may want to drop blessings for 5 ranks MOC. Consider dropping one spell also. Ambush is something to consider. 25 ranks help a lot when you want to aim for the head or a leg. All in all, I'd prioritize physical skills over magic now and catch up later.

This is what I've got at lvl 33. It's a good setup for me and he's a pretty fun character. Goals now are to get into plate as soon as possible, work up MOC and maintain 1x spells at least until 1635 although he very rarely has been subjected to status affects so far. I just hear what a good spell it is to have.

As you can see I've dropped dodge completely. I rely on MBP, a Tower Shield and outside spells. Carrying a tower shield works against dodge ability anyway so I consider it a good trade off.

Edit: Looks like a tower shield lowers evade defense by 46%. That makes dodge very expensive for the tp's.

Awesome thank you, knowing I can drop this and spend the points elsewhere helps

Late to the party, and cwolff pretty much answered...

But, if you're using a tower shield, you definitely don't need the dodging (until much later, when you've got the TP's to spare).

Currently using a aegis so I'm gonna have to track down something bigger before I start the migration
