I've gotten an email from SIMU saying I AM for sure permanently locked out.

I've decided in real life to do other things. I'm concentraiting in learning science better. Knowledge is key, for sure.

I emailed NASA and got a prompt response. An employee there who will go unnamed, mailed me a brochure for the NASA sharp program. It's for teenagers interested in science to work at NASA at a colleage campus , food is provided as well as wages.

I'm filling out my application now to mail it in. :)

While you're at it, you might want to bone up on your spelling and grammar.

Best of luck.

Drew is right, Kevin. I looked into the NASA Sharp program out of curiosity. Listed amongst the eligibility requirements is the following:

"Speak and write English at a level that does not require significant assistance."

If you expect to be considered, you've got a great deal of work to do.

Sorry, NASA only hires smart monkeys to shoot into space.

I think it's a great idea. Who wants to waste a chimp finding out what happens when you pass through a black hole? People will miss you less.

HAHJALHLASHJLAKHA SCIOTT IS SO FUNNAY

Anyway. You won't make it, Kevin. Sorry.

PS- There is no NASA in Arizona so I hope to god you're not coming to Houston.

Anyone else read that and immediately think Challenger and Columbia?

Kevin, have you ever been tested to see if you have a learning disorder like dyslexia? It might be useful for you to do so. I have never been tested myself but I know I have a mild case of it as to this day I have problems with telling my left from my right which I know is something a lot of dyslexics can suffer from.

Good for you. Good luck with whatever you do besides Gemstone.

Best response ever.

I'm almost sad I don't play Gemstone right now.. the celebrations are probably realm-wide.

I really think being locked out for good is the best thing for you. It will be great if you can put your time and effort into something more worthwhile at your age. Good luck with that and remember, you don't NEED the negative attention you draw to yourself here. It isn't doing you any favours in the long run.

Maybe you could start up a bulliten board for the NASA sharps program and not live in fear of ever being banned again. Think of the POWER you could have being the site admin. Einstein would do it, I"m sure of it.

I don't think he needs significant help with writing, just a few spelling errors here and there.

You know, with some of the writing skills I've seen on applications to Harvard, people don't write much better than he does.

If that's true, it's bloody horrifying! You've also gotta wonder if those people whose applications to Harvard weren't written much better than what we see here got into Harvard at all.

There is such a thing as setting one's sights too high and subjecting oneself to constant disappointments and feelings of failure. The results of this aren't very good, and it's worth thinking about.

Good luck! It'd be a real growth experience, if you're accepted, I think.

Funniest part of this whole thing is the fact that Tayre guarantees Kevin won't make it. lol

If they hire Mexicans, i'm sure they'd hire a mildly retarded white kid.

Oh shit. Man this is funny. But truth to the K. Man, tighten it up. Get professional. Set your goals, small to large and fuck em up. You can do it.

I haven't taken a test for it. But I asked my psychiatrist and consoler, and they doubted it.

Personally though, I believe i might have a mild case of it, like you have.

Sometimes I have trouble expressing what is on my mind into words.

That's not dyslexia, that's stupidity. I sure hope you don't move to Houston and help run NASA. They already have enough idiots on that side of town.

I have trouble putting my thoughts into words a lot of the time too as do many people I know. None of these people are stupid and neither am I.
