Hi,
I'm trying to get deeds for one of my characters in the Landing, and I am sure I am using the right formula for deeds, but I haven't yet been able to get one despite several attempts.

The formula I am now using is ((level+# deeds)*100)+101

Has this formula changed??

I even went over the amount I needed by several hundred silvers and still did not get a deed, anyone know anything about this?

Thanks.

If you're in the Landing, personally I'd use gems. Gems are worth three times as much than silvers. I haven't used the silvers method in a long time, but I believe that was the formula that worked. I could be misinformed, though.

Dont you need gems to get deeds in the landing? Unless you are speaking of Hearthstone and then I have no clue what the method is, let alone the formula

I was buying deeds the other day, and I do believe the formula has changed. I had to grossly overpay. at level 50 with 0 deeds, it cost me 7001 to get my first deed.

So yeah, I think it changed

You can't buy deeds with silver after you have 7 otherwise the equation is correct.

There are far better ways to get deeds. Lots of good sites that will spoil the puzzle for you out there.

Edit:

I should say the equation only holds up to 7 deeds, beyond that it might be possible but I've never been willing to throw large sums of money at the problem and see.

You can use gems or silvers at the temple in the landing.

It can be a lot cheaper at hearthstone, which just costs.. What.. three wands? Takes a little extra time, but is worth it.

So is the deed formula using gems the same in the landing?

I was told (deeds + level +1)*3/100 for gems.

Also, a scarab does it every time for me. In the temple, in the landing.

For older folks, the dwarf cut rubies sold in the caravansary seem to equal a deed apiece.

Gems count triple. Therefore, the formula would be (100*(deeds + levels) + 101)/3 when using gem value.

Use gems in the temple. Scarabs and boxfound jewelery also works, just make sure you appraise it to ascertain the value.

Attempting to throw up a deed calculator I've had for ages from Kalguardian(?) I think.

The way it used to be was you just went behind the tapestry and dropped (deeds * level +101) silver and you got it.

Just to point out Hearthstone is not always 3 wands. My rogue currently 33 had 100 deeds and it takes him 6 wands to get anymore.

A deed can be bought for 4k regardless of level. Less if you have trading.

Buy some gem in Solhaven...dwarf-cut diamond or ruby or something. Using the Hearthstone deed machine, that should get you a deed almost all of the time..

Dwarf-Cut Rubies from the NC do the trick.
